Finally! The girls room is finally complete! What a labor of love this room has been. Waiting for this room to be completed was a perfect example of how expectations in the industry have to change due to shipping delays and low inventory. Either way, I am so excited to say that this space in our home is finally complete and the girls have a room they can really love.
I wanted this bedroom to be a space the girls could share and grow into. We have went through different phases over the past few years where the girls want to sleep together sometimes, and then others they find they want their own space. I love that this room allows for both options as it has two beds. I knew these were the beds I wanted for their room for a really long time. They typically are seen in children’s room in the white or gray color but once this natural wood color came out, I knew it was the staple piece I was going to design the entire space off of.
The second design element I chose, was this gorgeous wallpaper. I honestly could not be more impressed with quality and beautiful pattern of this wallpaper. Honestly, after we did this feature wall, I fell more in love with the concept of wallpaper than I thought possible. I think a lot of people feel it’s outdated, which it might be, but to me it’s a fairly inexpensive way to add character, pattern and detail to a space that makes it unique and special to you. It can always be removed, and is not permanent, just like anything! However, I see this being up for like, ever because I love it that much!

Some of the bedding details were gathered from various retailers over the course of this long project. I recently just found this jersey comforter at target and love the subtle stripe pattern to ground the bedding. I paired this amazing pillow from Walmart on here. I don’t love the insert but that can easily be changed with one of my favorite inserts!
