I can’t believe it’s going to be April later this week and that Easter is right around the corner! If you followed along since last holiday season, you know I tackled my very first ever tablescape, and I think since have become obsessed with creating them. Cambridge Home reached out to me about creating a beautiful inviting tablescape for Easter and I had so much fun with it! The color pallet stemmed from the beautiful brass accents from the stemware to the flatware.
Naturally, I was drawn to light blue accents. There is something about the robin’s egg blue that just draws me in for the spring time. I saw these beautiful napkins along with the plates and placemats from McGee and Co and just knew they were the additions I needed for my vision. I love the braided jute placemat, and they’re a great option that is versatile for many seasons of the year. Additionally, these plates are perfect everyday plates. The pleated sides are my favorite, and I love the little dip which allows spillers like myself to keep their meal on their plate and not in their lap!
I was so lucky to also work with Prairie Boards from Sun Prairie on some of the food styling. I love creating a great charcuterie board, but honestly just did not have the time. Being able to send over inspiration to Amanda and have her create something with my colors in mind was amazing. She is local and you can find her work and purchase options here.
I also wanted to add in some additional blue with florals. I found these gorgeous stems at Micheals this year and am obsessed with the color. Though it does not match the napkins perfectly, to me it is the perfect compliment to the tablescape and it pairs so nicely with the real Baby’s-Breath.
Of course another highlight of the tablescape are our new dining room chairs! Originally, I didn’t think they would work, but I’m so glad we tried them because absolutely love them! They have great height and stability which is so nice for a dining room chair. Additionally, I love the wood finish and black spindle backs. The upholstered seat is so comfortable and has the prettiest subtle pattern. You can shop them here, and be sure to stay tuned for the rest of my dining room refresh coming soon!
I hope you all enjoy these Easter tablescape ideas and try them out yourself this upcoming holiday! It was a lot of fun putting together this inspiration for all of you! I’m so happy with how it turned out! Be sure to tag me on Instagram if you try out any of these pieces in your own Easter tablescape!
