With the holiday season officially here, one of the first things I changed in my home was our throw pillows! Throw pillows are such an easy, and more affordable way, to update your space during any season. Like all my other decor, I stick to neutrals and add dimension and texture into the space with different prints, patterns, and textiles. I sourced pillows from some of my favorite online pillow cover shops—Danielle Oakey and Linen & James. If you love pillows like me, but don’t have closet space to store all the beautiful throws, investing in high-quality pillow covers is a great way to go! I love that I can pick out a few pillow covers that are high-quality, handmade, and I know they will last me for many seasons and years to come. My pro tip if investing in pillow covers, get the PillowFlex inserts from Amazon. These pillow inserts are the best ones that I have found—be sure to go up one size for the pillow insert (ex. if your pillow cover is 18×18, get a 20×20 pillow insert)!
I also added in a few holiday throw pillows from The Citizenry and Target. I love how soft and cozy these styles are, especially the ones from The Citizenry! Some of these options are a higher-end, but the quality is amazing and I know that I will hold onto them for many years to come. Overall, I’m so happy with how our great room turned out! All of the holiday touches help create such a warm and cozy space, and I know these holiday throw pillows will be perfect for snuggling up with on the cold winter nights.
