When we built our house, I knew I wanted a white kitchen. There was something about a crisp clean and fresh kitchen that drew me in. After living here for a while, I started realizing it can be kind of difficult to find stylish kitchen decor that is functional. Today I am rounding up 13 different functional decor pieces to refresh your kitchen space.
Decorations yet clutter free
If you are like me, you want your kitchen free of clutter as often as possible. Putting unnecessary items on the counter tops can often make it feel messy and that you are lacking space. Over the past year I have been trying to gather decor items that are not only pleasing to the aesthetic of the kitchen, but can serve a purpose. I love how Katie at Halfwaywholeistic talked about similar items and used neutral items to achieve a cohesive, beautiful kitchen.
Some of my favorite kitchen decor pieces
Some of my favorite decor pieces to incorporate into my kitchen include linen hand towels, that can easily add some warmth and pattern to your range. I also love canisters/jars that can be easily sat in front of uniquely shaped cutting boards. A great vase with some florals can really bring some life to your kitchen. I recently found this bread box and love the cream color contrasting against the white cabinets.
